Neil and Pegi Young

In the world of music, there are many artists who contribute their support to a wide variety of worthy causes. Neil and Pegi Young have devoted much of their energy into developing projects that have had an enduring positive impact on the world. In 1986, they held the first annual fundraising concert for The Bridge School, an innovative organization educating children with severe speech and physical impairments.

Since that time, The Bridge School has been at the forefront of award-winning advancements in creating new means of enabling children with complex communication needs to access their education and to participate more fully in their homes, schools and communities. Pegi Young's efforts on behalf of the children is a constant. Neil Young is also one of the co-founders with Willie Nelson and John Mellancamp of Farm Aid, started in 1986. They have helped focus the attention on the challenges of family farmers struggling for survival, and raised funds to heighten awareness of their economic problems.

Neil and Pegi Young are committed to continuing their work on a variety of fronts to assist others to reach their full potential and, as a result, help society improve and prosper.
